Snow-covered, slippery roads are making for a slower-than-usual commute this morning, while classes have been cancelled in some parts of the province.
The Annapolis Valley School Board closed all of its schools today, while schools are also closed in the Municipality of East Hants, Digby County and Yarmouth County.
Just over 1,100 customers woke up without power this morning in the Chezzetcook area.
Environment Canada says snow or flurries are expected to continue this morning and drifting snow on roads may be a problem in some areas.
